What events are being held in your area this year that were not there last year?
Do you still have old events from last year posted on your site? Or Even worse are there events from 2 to 3 years ago?

So the first thing you will want to do is get that first page updated, and if you have an event page you want to make sure that is updated as well.
Check Your competitions websites and look to see how they are representing the area that they are in. This will help give you ideas as to how to change your home page wording, and even driving directions that might be on your website.

More Guest Blog Networks Taken Down Months After Warnings
Just a few months ago Google announced a new change in its search algorithms stating that guest blogging is now a no no, and has proven to hold to its word as it starts penalizing guest blogging networks with its recent one being Post Joint. Post Joint is not allowing this to phase them, and said they will continue to strive outside of Google.
One mention with an online source says that Post Joint does not show up on searches for its own name. We find this to be true but if you enter Postjoint.com they do show up, however if you enter Post Joint, they do not. How they will continue to strive with out the largest search engine in the world is a bit puzzling to us.
My Blogguest has reportedly been penalized now as well. One concern that we might have is that legitimate sites are now scared to allow guest bloggers on their websites due to the changes and threats that could possibly enter their website into Google jail.
